Best VPN 2026 ExpressVPN review
ExpressVPN review 2026
ExpressVPN is the nice suitcase. Not the wisest spend on this list. Sometimes the one you will actually leave on.
From $7/mo · Premium pricing even on a term. You are paying for the brand and the apps.
Best for: People who want it to work and will not compare €5 Mullvad

Buy if You have paid for convenience everywhere else and you want the VPN to match.
Skip if You can tap Proton or Mullvad. The extra money is not a privacy upgrade.
ExpressVPN costs more so the app can disappear. That has value if every other VPN you tried became a weekend project. It has no value if you can use Proton.
Fifth is not a quality insult. It is a price insult. Pay it on purpose or do not.
Pros
- Best-in-class apps
- Streaming reliability
- LightTV/router options
Cons
- You are buying a luxury brand
- Privacy story is not better than Proton/Mullvad at this price
ExpressVPN FAQ
Is ExpressVPN worth it vs Nord?
Only if you like the app more. Both are consumer VPNs with teasers. Nord is usually cheaper.
